Honestly, Hillary

Soon, Hillary Clinton will become the nominee of the Democratic Party. It will come with less rancor than that of Donald Trump's convention. However, there is no less controversy as an open letter in the Huffington Post by Alexandra Scott demonstrates. There is also a threat from Wikileaks about more damaging information about the Clinton Foundation. There is also the charges of corrupt and illegal interference by Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the nominating process that put Bernie Sanders at a significant disadvantage.

Scott's letter warns Clinton that her issues will impede the Democratic Party's ability to present and debate priority topics and concerns:

  • Benghazi
  • Bill’s peccadilloes
  • Finances of the Clinton Foundation
  • General Republican antipathy towards Hillary

"Huffington Post Runs Open Letter to Hillary — What It Asks Her to Do Might Make Democrats Nervous

What is Hillary to do?

1. Let the Democratic Party counter every ad and slam by Republicans on Benghazi with a counter punch.

2. Position Bill Clinton's peccadilloes as old news, and irrelevant. For every Republican punch, hit them with a Trump counterpunch because his life is equally or more perverse.

3. Assign a uniquely qualified lawyer and an accounting firm to address questions about The Clinton Foundation finances. Triage and compartmentalize issues and responses with due process as protection.

An example of the litany of harsh criticisms is this:

Countering this independent writer might be a job for Donna Brazile, in her spare time, of course.
