'Mexico is not yours to play with'

It is odd that President Peña Nieto agreed to meet with Donald Trump in a hastily prepared face-to-face event. Trump is most unwelcome in Mexico and only a few hours after the meeting he will deliver an immigration speech in Phoenix, Arizona. That timing plainly appears to be just an exploitative photo opportunity.

"Former President Vicente Fox, an outspoken Trump critic, said on Mexican television that the visit would be an opportunity for Trump to mock Peña Nieto on his home turf. Fox told Milenio TV that Trump is not welcome and that “he has offended us, he has deceived us; he has discriminated against us.”
The Washington Post

The entire circumstance demonstrates the Donald Trump does not appreciate the magnitude of importance in meeting with a head of state. Nor does it indicate the quality thought that is essential for making American foreign policy.

Let's hear and analyze what transpires very carefully. The meeting in Mexico could be a make-it-or-break-it event for Donald Trump. A colossal failure would likely terminate his prospects.
