Ryan Solen vs Paul Ryan

Here is a perfect example of the deficiency in how voters elect representatives. The race is for representation from Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District where Paul Ryan is running for his 10th term in office. Speaker Ryan holds onto seniority that has propelled him to the Speaker of the House, whether he is qualified or not.

Now, the Democrats have an opportunity to unseat him, but who does the party advance? His name is Ryan Solen. What do the voters know about him?

There is nothing on file to show that he is qualified. It doesn't matter what his positions are on issues because there is no reason to listen to a thing that he has to say. The Democratic Party in Wisconsin has failed its constituents.

Ryan Solen is an Iraq War veteran.

Priority Issues:
Some of the things that I believe will help us the most:
* Balance the budget and pay-off the national debt to put the ~$260 Billion in interest payments to better use.
* Universal health care to ensure a healthy and productive population.
* Investment in our crumbling infrastructure.
* Reform university tuition and student loan regulations.
* Revise and simplify the tax code.
* Protect Social Security; raise the taxable income cap on it, and prevent any privatization of the system.
* Strict term limits on the Senate and the House of Representatives."
