Give a fraud no quarter

Kindness poured from CNN this morning, being gracious to Donald Trump's change of tone. Is this a new script or new act? It is the same actor that Americans know and have seen to his heart. The core message is the same on the surface. Lurking deep is his hatred and bigotry that cannot be erased from his personal record in history. His intentions and actions cannot be trusted, not now, not ever because he is an incurable liar.

The award goes to the speechwriters and not to the ungifted actor.

"For once, this most unorthodox of politicians struck a conventional presidential posture as he sought to stabilize his administration after a tumultuous five weeks in office.
Though his language was more lofty and unifying than normal, Trump gave little quarter on the substance of his policies on issues ranging from trade, defense, immigration, and counterterrorism. The result was a populist, nationalistic prescription that he said would yield "a new chapter of American greatness."
7 in 10 Speech-Watchers Say Trump Boosted Optimism
"From now on, America will be empowered by our aspirations, not burdened by our fears, inspired by the future, not bound by failures of the past, and guided by a vision, not blinded by our doubts," Trump said, from the Speaker's rostrum in the House of Representatives."

Republicans in Congress might well cry, "Let him out!" Democrats counter, "GITMO or bust!"

Let me in.

  1. How many times would an individual be permitted to lie before a judge in a court of law? How about lying as a federal government leader before the constituents of We the People?

    One and done.
