Ask me why I am one-sided

In a conversation with a beautiful friend who is as stubborn as I, here is how it went. First, I shared my Tweet I.D. and said that my Tweets are better than Trump's. (https://twitter.com/YankeeJim2)

My friend replied, "You are a nicer man than Trump, but you need to listen to both sides if you want to be a leader. Because I check your FB wall most the time and you are too one-sided."

I responded that I like my side, best. I spent over half of my life bending for balance, and now I know better from right and wrong.

Now, let's discuss.

First, I do listen to all sides of the issues. However, it is imperative to become fully informed about the character of the sources of information.

In my book, How to Select an American President by James A. George with James A. Rodger (c) 2017 Archway Publishing, I tried to be as objective and impartial as possible.

Evidence of impartiality is that I scored Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton resumes and qualifications the same, for very different reasons. It is the act of evaluating candidates that is most important. It is motivating fellow citizens to do their homework that is the endgame.

Having said that, when voters evaluate candidates as I recommend, they are in a position to form a judgment about the character and qualities of candidates who want to represent them.

If they cannot pass the good-character test, then whatever they have to say after that is not relevant because they are an unreliable source. It is a person who lies once on the witness stand, after that their testimony is flawed.

My bias in based on my unwavering commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. If you are with me on that, then we are kindred spirits. If not, it doesn't matter to either of us.

I am for equality and freedom for all.
