The Rule of Law and the Presidency

The days are long past when American voters can be so reckless and uninformed about How to Select an American President.

Today, America faces a situation in which, President Trump demonstrates disdain and disrespect for the rule of law. That is the opposite of what we had in President Obama who was trained in Constitutional Law.

American citizen-voters should want and expect the most superior qualified individuals that they can recruit for all public offices.

In the instance of Members of the House of Representatives and the US Senate, as well as the President and Vice President, it is imperative that they have law degrees as a minimum.

Why? It because their job is creating, amending, and retiring laws and regulations.

Furthermore, they should have contemporary knowledge and skill in a variety of subjects that map to the needs of the nation. They perform in an automated regulatory environment and should have skill and knowledge about systems engineering and information technology.

That is not too much to expect and to demand of future candidates.

I am prepared to discuss and debate that.

  1. Donald Trump is unfit for office and must be impeached for cause.
