Democrat Elder Statespersons

The news today is about Hillary Clinton's role in the party today. At best, it would be right behind her husband. She has turned her database over to many people apparently.

Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are appealing to yesteryears losers and not to the millennials who are the future.

Find grandchildren with a conscience to lead America and to replace those who are without empathy and social and environmental responsibility. Clear the deck.

Chelsea, you can be the new spokesperson for your parents. It is called "assisted living."

"Hillary Clinton looks for her role in midterms
Hillary Clinton wants to play a role in next year’s midterm elections. It’s just not clear yet what that role will be.
Clinton has already launched a PAC aimed at helping congressional Democratic candidates in 2018, signaling the former first lady, senator and secretary of state is ready to help her party with fundraising.
She also is looking at the House districts she won in last year’s presidential contest against Donald Trump as part of an autopsy of her failed campaign, according to two sources who have spoken to the former secretary of state."

Heard Enough from Trump

Donald Trump continued to throw cold water all over the US intelligence service that is adamant that Russians interfered in Election 2016 with indisputable evidence. Why is Trump doing this the day before he meets with Vladimir Putin?

The answer is twofold: 1) Trump is conflicted and most likely a colluder, and 2) Acknowledging Russian interference undermines his legitimacy. Putting himself first, he subordinates the nation and its citizens to suit him while failing his oath of office.

Reasonable Republicans, if they exist, will join Democrats in accelerating the impeachment of Donald Trump.

Trump still doesn't seem to believe his intelligence agencies on Russia

(CNN)President Donald Trump still can't commit.
Nearly six months into his presidency, President Donald Trump declined yet again Thursday to state definitively that Russia meddled in the 2016 US election.
Trump said it might have been Russia, but he raised the prospect that it could have been others, too, clashing with the US intelligence community's assessment that Russian intelligence agencies interfered."

One day he will meet the evidence.

Toothless Ethics

The director of the Ethics Office quit. The reason is that no one is backing ethics enforcement. The President is allegedly violating conflicts of interest, and Congress doesn't seem to care one bit, much less the President.

Trump is violating laws and regulations right and left. The court has stopped him on many occasions, though no one has levied punishment.

The whole world is watching. Congress and Republicans are going along. Democracy and freedom is downgraded.

Outgoing ethics director Walter Shaub said in January that President Trump's plan to reduce conflicts of interest "doesn't meet the standards ... that every president in the past four decades has met."

The move follows months of clashes with the White House over issues such as President Trump's refusal to divest his businesses and the administration's delay in disclosing ethics waivers for appointees."

Stuck on Unfit

The news today reported by NPR, the channel that the GOP sought to shut down, is that most Americans believe that President Trump has done something wrong.

In conversations this past weekend with many Republicans, they wince at the President's behavior but continue to ask, "Where's the evidence." That is followed with, "How long will the investigation continue because apparently, they have nothing?"

Citizens and the Special Prosecutor have seen sufficient indications that warrant investigation. Investigating Trump's apparent violations of the Emolument Clause of the Constitution take much time because the IRS must consider a massively complex business with many tentacles. One might ask if the prosecutors or IRS find a single violation that is worthy of prosecution, must they wait to finish the rest before filing charges?

There is a Misprision of Fraud violation pending that is part of the Michael Flynn investigation. That is on the front burner of the Prosecutors and might be the first to pop. They won't advance that until they have exhausted obtaining as much information as they can from Flynn with a multitude of links to others in the Trump campaign including the President.

These matters are serious and detailed.

A more responsible Congress could pull the trigger on Trump's lying and slanderous allegations against former President Obama and others, though that will not happen because it is conflicted.

"A majority of Americans believe President Trump has done something either illegal or unethical when it comes to Russia, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll.
The 54 percent of people who believe something untoward has gone on include a quarter who believe the president has done something illegal in regards to his dealings with Russia, and 29 percent of Americans who think he has done something unethical, but not illegal. Thirty-six percent of Americans believe Trump has done nothing wrong. Those numbers reflect an increase in the number of Americans believing something either illegal or unethical went on compared to a February 2017 Marist survey when 49 percent of Americans thought the president had done something either illegal or unethical in regards to Russia."

The Untried Solution to North Korea

Kim Jong-un enjoys his role as "supreme ruler" of North Korea and wants to secure it by amassing nuclear power to intimidate his rivals and enemies: South Korea, Japan China, Russia, and the US.

Surrounded by military and political leaders, Kim Jong-un is not alone in his role.

Kim Jong-un would undoubtedly wish that his legacy is one that ensures a better way of life and security for his nation.

The obstacles to his success in the free-world include:

1. His form of government.
2. His style of leadership.
3. His lack of desire to assimilate as a participant in the free-world.

Could anything change his mind albeit twisted as it is?

What if Kim Jong-un can be assured of a personally splendid life without fear from enemies?

Is it possible to present a slate and schedule of changes that he leads and implements such that he and his people are rewarded for measurable progress?

Otherwise, the downside risk of annihilation remains, yet what about presenting a believable and practical path with a positive outcome?

That is diplomacy. That is dealmaking of the type Donald Trump promised.

There Is a Peaceful Way Out of the North Korea Crisis
Kim Jong Un’s nuclear and missile programs represent one of the most dangerous challenges since the end of the Cold War. But there are opportunities to stop them.

Afraid to Watch

Donald Trump, President, and Commander in Chief is embarking on a journey this week, meeting with Vladimir Putin. They might discuss the Syrian, Ukranian, and North Korean situations among other things. Unlike his usual blabbing, Trump claims to have no announced agenda. That is concerning.

Life in the USA with a Trump Presidency is filled with risk and uncertainty. When it spills into the marketplace and shakes Wall Street, then the powers to be might act to curtail or curb his behavior.

The Deep State is already at work. Guess what; they belong to We the People as our instruments and last line of defense.

The Perils of Trump’s Meeting With Putin
The G20 summit starts Thursday in Germany, where world leaders are certain to discuss North Korea, Syria, Islamic State and global terrorism. But the most highly anticipated talks of President Trump’s tenure will be when he meets face to face with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, while allegations of collusion remain at the center of a criminal investigation in Washington. Putin is known to prepare meticulously for such meetings. U.S. officials say they’ve prepared a thick binder for Trump, along with a list of tweet-length blurbs that summarize the main points. But senior aides have been mum on what the two leaders will discuss.

Remove and Replace this Government

The American government has been hijacked by an illegitimate President and all who are appointed by and go along with him.

My critics challenge by asking for evidence and proof. Many join those who are obstructing and impeding the investigation making them conspirators.

The Special Prosecutor is gathering the evidence to make the case. What the public has witnessed is more than circumstantial.

  • A single lie by the President as a Federal Government Official is a crime.

  • Conflicts of interest are violations of the Emolument Clause of the US Constitution.

  • Trump's handling of the Michael Flynn affair was Misprision of Fraud.

  • Trump's slanderous lies against the former President Obama is a crime and prosecutable.

The Republican Party's failing to vet their candidate and covering up apparent collusion with Russians in interfering with Election 2016 is treason. Mark the evidence including Trump's public declaration of support for Russian's leaking and interference.

We the People have heard and seen enough. The rule of law and due process takes time. The way ahead is clear. This regime must go.

On this Fourth of July, I am a patriot with my head lowered in shame by the State of the Union.

No Pride and Patriotism for Trump

If Congress could pass a law for this Fourth of July, it should be to condemn President Trump for unPresidential behavior and undermining the Nation by wrong and illegal acts.

As for illegalities, citizens await the Special Prosecutor for the facts and truth. There surely have been sufficient evidence of bad behavior that is incongruent with his office holding. One lie and he should be done. However, this Congress embraces lies like no other. Therefore, the entire government is illegitimate as it stands.

"FALLOUT FROM TRUMP'S CNN TWEET The outrage in response to President Donald Trump tweeting a video of him beating up a man whose head has been replaced by the CNN logo on Sunday was swift. While the president had called his tweets "modern day presidential" a day earlier, this GOP senator just wishes the tweeting, and the distraction it entails would go away."
