The biggest problem is that the Republican Party has aligned against the rule of law, backed an insurrection, and supported corrupt and incompetent leaders while exploiting a population of horribly ignorant people.
Look at this headline from the Financial Times: "Trump vs the FBI: 'It is just perpetual chaos' The law enforcement swoop on Mar-a-Lago has reignited resentment among the former president's base as he weighs a 2024 bid."
The whole world is watching while democracy in America is buckling under the strain of ignorance and corruption. The outcome is uncertain.
Without standards for U.S. political parties that hold them accountable for upholding the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law, there is no hope.
