Trump and Tax Filing Distraction

For a long time now, American citizens have sought disclosure of  Donald Trump's IRS tax filings. Why? Because therein are answers revealing his conflicts of interest. Also, the tax filings will show the extent to which Trump pays his fair share and how he leverages tax laws to minimize his obligations.

While Trump has no legal obligation to make his filing public, the  US Treasury Department has full access and, according to Trump and verified by the IRS, he is being audited.

Most important, if the IRS discovers anything illegal worthy of an investigation it will share it with the FBI. The FBI and National Security Agency have an active investigation into Trump and his campaign associates for a number of probable causes including:

• Emolument Clause Violations
• Misprision of Fraud
• Coordinating and Colluding with the Enemy
• Lying as a Federal Government Representative
• Tax Dodging

Little things such as nepotism and other ethics violations might fall under the purvue of Congress to police. However, the evidence shows that the Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader among other Republican Congressmen have obstructed justice or are otherwise conflicted. They cannot conduct impartial investigations.

All of this amounts to an impending Constitutional Crisis whereby the US Government is defined as illegitimate. The standing protocols for the restablishing government after the President and his Vice President and cabinet members are impeached are undermined by a corrupt Congress.

This means that the US Government will be in the hands of the US Supreme Court and the members of Congress who are not compromised by the alleged Trump corruption crimes.

Hold onto your government with the rule of law with all of your might as this democratic nation will get its biggest test ever.

The way forward includes:

• Prosecuting crimes
• Establishing temporary governance
• Initiating a new election
• Resetting under the US Constitution

Investigation into Trump must accelerate

Situation Analysis: A sitting President is suspected of multiple violations that could constitute his impeachment with the highest crimes among the alleged possibilities.

Probable Cause: Part of the problem stems from the Republican Party failing to properly vet candidate Trump. They did not perform a thorough analysis of his resume. They did not vet his business relationships to identify possible conflicts of interest. They did not verify and validate his financial situation and that of his businesses for possible vulnerabilities that might undermine his security clearance. They ignored multiple lawsuits including fraud and sexual assault.

Problem Statement: Donald Trump appears to be in violation of the Emolument Clause of the US Constitution prohibiting conflicts of interest. He persists in actions that constitute ethics violations including nepotism.  He appears to have committed Misprision of Fraud, covering up lies. He has constantly lied about a host of things all of which are impeachable offenses.

Trump is under investigation by the Treasury, FBI, and National Security Agency along with his campaign staff members for coordinating or colluding with Russians to interfere in the nation's free election.

With all of that, the Republican-controlled Congress has participated in covering up and obstructing justice by interfering with an objective investigation. That renders Congress being unable to conduct an impartial investigation and makes the Congressional protocol moot if Trump and Pence are impeached.

If Trump goes, the administration and government is a house of cards.

"The European intelligence agencies detected multiple communications over several months between the Trump associates and Russian individuals -- and passed on that intelligence to the US. The US and Britain are part of the so-called "Five Eyes" agreement (along with Canada, Australia, and New Zealand), which calls for open sharing among member nations of a broad range of intelligence.
The communications are likely to be scrutinized as part of the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation into Russia's efforts to meddle in the 2016 presidential election. 

"If foreign intelligence agencies share information with US intelligence, and it's relevant to the investigation, then, of course, the intelligence committee will look at it," a source close to the Senate investigation told CNN."

Reading a story this morning about Democrats and they're trying to recruit appealing candidates for the US House of Representatives, I have lots of advice. My book, How to Select an American President by James A. George with James A. Rodger (c) 2017 Archway Publishing isn't just about presidential candidates. The process applies to all elected representatives.

For political parties, the process begins with the Party Platform that should address the foundation for attending to the nation's priority outcomes.

Democrats and Republicans post their platforms on their respective websites, and frankly, they are deplorably deficient. That is why I have another book in progress addressing that subject.

My recommendation is that candidates for the US House of Representatives, for instance, must reconcile two things:

1. The needs and desires of their District's constituents
2. Their alignment with their respective political party's platform

I suggest that candidates write and publish a comprehensive manifesto addressing how they will act for their prospective term in office. We the People need details.

Before getting to the "manifestos," citizens must be assured that their candidates are qualified and certified to represent constituents to the highest standards possible.

Since their jobs vigorously engage the law, they should be trained in the law. Since their work is to produce laws and regulations that are implemented in an automated environment, they would be well-served by having systems engineering and information technology knowledge and competence. Those are just starters.

13. Affordable health care for all Americans 100%

Trump's value-added performance

There is something that Donald Trump might do to save himself from inevitable prosecution for treasonous activity with the Russians, Emolument Clause Violations, Misprision of Fraud and all out lying. Here it is.

In addressing the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, Donald Trump could craft the biggest deal ever to bring about peace and stability in the Asian theater. What's the deal?

Donald Trump, the "big dealmaker," might want to consider this scenario.

1. What is the incentive for Kim Jong-un to sustain his leadership in North Korea under the circumstances?

He comes from a line of dictators who have maintained iron-strength control through murderous intolerance and demand for absolute obedience. That cannot be much fun, and we know Kim Jong-un prefers a fun lifestyle.

2. What is the proposition?

Donald Trump is in the business of creating environments for wealthy persons who wish to max out in fun and luxury. Suppose that Trump proposes to Kim Jong-un that Trump will create a secure island resort at which Kim and his top 200 friends and family can live to his last dying day, unmolested and fully supplied to enjoy himself ala the way that Napolean once did only better.

3. What would happen to North Korea?

With regime change, the Chinese, Americans, and South Koreans would collaborate to establish North Korea as a democratic republic and free trade zone as a gateway between Asia nations and China.

Now, think about that and come back with more ideas to denuclearize all of Asia.

Nuclear family thought of the day

"Nuclear family" normally has a different meaning. Today, I am thinking about all of the nations that harbor nuclear weapons and the nuts who advocate them.

Bearing in mind the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the development and deployment of nuclear weapons are off the table. That is, for the sake of humanity on this very small planet Earth, any government that warehouses these weapons of mass destruction are equal violators of the "Declaration."

That means you Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, North Korea, China, Pakistan, Iran and anyone else.

Today, it is Kim Jong-un who is parading his nuclear might. In an instant, North Korea could be eliminated from the planet as a habitat for the living. That cannot be the aim of even this fool-hardy dictator.

Let better sense prevail, somehow.

"We're prepared to respond to an all-out war with an all-out war," said Choe Ryong-hae, believed to be the country's second most powerful official. 

Kim Jong-un appeared relaxed and laughed with aides 

"We are ready to hit back with nuclear attacks of our own style against any nuclear attacks," he said."

Trump escapes to Mar-a-Lago

He is not exactly AWOL, but who would have known that President Trump would take a vacation to his Florida home every weekend? Well, there is one thing that Trump cannot escape, and that is the "Deep State." as he likes to call it.

The Treasury, FBI, and National Security Agency on his tail and they have juicy details and a mountain of evidence. Soon, the dam will break.

Multiple sources are converging to support the allegation that Trump conspired with the Russians. That is not only an impeachable offense but also a treasonous one with very high punishment on conviction.

"U.S. intelligence agencies received the information from the GCHQ, the U.K.’s Government Communications Headquarters as is being reported in the Guardian.
“They now have specific concrete and corroborative evidence of collusion. This is between people in the Trump campaign and agents of [Russian] influence relating to the use of hacked material.” 

Even though the operation wasn’t targeted against Trump initially, the source said that the material in question is not in doubt. 

“It is understood that GCHQ was at no point carrying out a targeted operation against Trump or his team or proactively seeking information,” the Guardian said. “The alleged conversations were picked up by chance as part of routine surveillance of Russian intelligence assets. Over several months, different agencies targeting the same people began to see a pattern of connections that were flagged to intelligence officials in the US.”"

Liar-in-Chief not in the clear

Donald Trump stumbles forward, often tripping over his poorly chosen appointees while dodging and weaving his misstatements and policy mistakes. One thing that he can't hurdle is the wall around his Presidency that is built by stacking lies and attempting to hide his business conflicts of interest that commingle Russians and politics.

I am posting this to keep the fact in the forefront that President Trump should be impeached for all sorts of violations and that Congress is obstructing justice by failing to act against him.

"According to the former head of British spy agency M16 Sir Richard Dearlove, Trump’s business empire was allowed to remain afloat due to Russian loans following the 2008 financial collapse when no one in the United States would give money to him. 

“What lingers for Trump may be what deals — on what terms — he did after the financial crisis of 2008 to borrow Russian money when others in the West apparently would not lend to him,” Dearlove said. 

ABC News previously released a report saying that Trump had received “hundreds of millions” of Russian money and that it had been flowing into his bank account for years.
“His real estate fortunes have benefited greatly from Russian investors and their millions, potentially putting a get tough on policy with Russia in direct conflict with his bottom line.” 

The issue of Trump being able to separate himself from his business as president has been brought up before, but given the scope of the investigation, it’s unlikely Trump will be able to divest himself from his real estate empire like he says he would. Anything Trump does as president has an impact on his business and Trump is allowed to take money out of the account continually – he directly benefits. 

Trump has previously said that he had “ZERO investments in Russia.” He told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos “will I sell condos to Russians on occasion? Probably. I mean, I do that. I have a lot of condos. I do that. But I have no relationship with Russia whatsoever.”
