The headline beyond Trump's sex exploitation scandal is that the administration wants to include citizenship questions on the 2020 census form. What's the motivation behind that?

First, Republicans want to intimidate more illegal immigrants and legal immigrants too. They don't want them trying to vote.

Frankly, no one wants illegal persons voting as citizens, and the data shows they don't. That is not a problem.

Second, the problem is that there is a sizeable population of illegal persons living in America who are undocumented. That question is addressed by following the laws and regulations that are on the books. The real problem is that too many Congresses and Presidents failed to enforce the laws and that led to the accrual of a huge population of illegal and undocumented persons who expanded the issue by having children in America who are legal citizens.

The size of the problem and the duration of illegal persons living in America has become too large to handle by merely following the law. Doing so now imposes cruel and unusual punishment on families residing in Amerca.

Congress was expected to address the matter, and it failed once again, and so has the President.

Managing the population requires policies that encourage and support favorable demographics that include the development of skills, knowledge, and experience that make the nation's economy
healthy and sustainable.

Today, it is not. Neither party nor the President is addressing sustainable economics, which is why I wrote the book, Regenerating America with Sustainable Economics by James A. George and James A. Rodger (c) 2017 Archway Publishing.

Pathetic Government

While President Trump was left holding the budget-bag yesterday, Congressional Representatives ran for their airplanes to "get of Dodge." Incoming today are students, protesting deficient guns laws and school safety against armed intruders. The President escaped to Mar-a-Lago and is in hiding from them and the reporters wanting to ask a host of questions ranging from White House in Chaos, the Russian investigation, the Budget law, and all of the affairs and allegations of assaulting women.

Meanwhile, the President is staffing for war while Congress winks and blinks.

"March for gun control takes over Washington 

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to flood the nation's capital on Saturday for the “March for Our Lives” to support tougher gun controls and protest Congress's refusal to consider them. 

Organizers received a National Park Service permit for 500,000 people, an audience to rival enormous demonstrations like the “Women’s March” staged in Washington the day after President Trump’s inauguration. 

Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., organized and inspired the event after a gunman killed 17 of their classmates and members of the school faculty on Valentine’s Day.

Trump Bamboozled by GOP-led Congress

The members of Congress left in the night or on early planes home and abroad. They got out of town after completing the budget legislation. They didn't read the 2200 pages, and neither did the President. They didn't allow any time for review. It was a shlock job handed to a schlub President.

Then, Trump had the gall to try to blame it on the Democrats and sneaked in some shots at Obama and probably Hillary Clinton too. It is always someone else's fault. Buck up Trump, you da man.

Just sign on the line.

Just like nondisclosure agreements. Wink, nod.

President Trump signed a massive spending bill Friday, hours after threatening a veto that would have triggered a government shutdown. 

The $1.3 trillion omnibus legislation passed both chambers of Congress after lengthy negotiations between leaders of both parties. The Senate passed it late Thursday, and most lawmakers had left Washington by Friday morning. 

Trump tweeted just before 9 a.m. ET that he was "considering a VETO" because the bill does not fully address his immigration priorities. Hours later, the president relented and signed the measure, just as his aides had promised all along.

Now, with the appointment of war-hawk, John Bolton, as the National Security Advisor, the President has a hair-pin trigger. He has staffed with a trigger-happy bunch the likes of which got us into Iraq.

This regime, the illegitimate and Russian compromised government must be evicted.

Trump the Traitor

Donald Trump ignored his National Security Advisors and congratulated Vladimir Putin for his reelection. Putin's retaining power is from a flawed election process the likes of which Trump might want to impose on Americans, apparently.

The charade is over. Stand up for America or go along with Trump.
Many Republicans have chosen to "go along," and that means they are treasonous traitors too.

Impeach and prosecute the Trump regime.

Stop the Assault on Democracy

President Donald Trump continues to assault persons and institutions with slanderous lies and bully behavior that is inappropriate and unfit for his office. His attacks are against the foundation of our Constitutional democracy and We the People have the right and duty to compel him to cease his illegal actions.

The President is under investigation by the Special Prosecutor as his campaign and business relationships tie directly to the Russian government via a money trail and observable actions.

Leadership in the US House of Representatives is complicit in covering up and obstructing justice with dereliction of duty and performance. That fact makes the nation vulnerable to tyranny by Donald Trump, and he is levying assaults now.

Citizens must remember that when our elected representatives fail to perform, it is our obligation and duty to protest, resist, and revolt against it.  We can vote them out of office. If their destructive performance persists before the election, we can demand their resignations. That is where we are today.

Demand the resignation of US Members of the House of Representatives who go along with President Trump.

Seek their impeachment, though demanding resignations is a swifter and more direct option.

(CNN)Donald Trump's weekend of assaults on Robert Mueller's investigation pushed Washington closer than ever to the major crisis of governance that could ensue if the President were to act on his fury and fire the special counsel. 

The President's lambasting of the Russia probe and the administration's sacking of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe prompted warnings from key Republicans that he would send the country over a cliff if he tried to dismiss Mueller. 

And the White House will Monday face uncomfortable new questions about the Trump team's conduct during the 2016 election after Facebook suspended Cambridge Analytica, a data firm used by President's campaign, over allegations it used the data of 50 million users of the social media site without their permission."

Donald Trump Must Be Impeached Now

Donald Trump is using the presidency as a bully pulpit for himself and does not have the nation’s interest as the top priority. From the beginning, his personal manifesto has telegraphed an attack on the US government and its institutions that are created and embodied in law.

By soliciting and engaging support from foreign governments, principally the Russians, he and the Republican Party have undermined the American Political System. The Republican Party advanced the notion that corporations are people too and can garner campaign contributions that dwarf that from individuals. That undermines the principle of one person-one vote. 

The US House of Representatives led by Speaker Paul Ryan is conflicted in investigating Trump and the Trump campaign organization. He and the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee participated in the obstruction of justice and cannot execute their duties to initiate impeachment against an errant and illegal president.

These circumstances that include corruption and breaches of the oath of offices imperils the nation and democracy in the American republic are failing.

The Special Prosecutor initiative is under attack by the President and members of his party. Only The Senate Intelligence Committee has maintained a bipartisan investigation. Though remember that only the House can initiate impeachment. The Senate prosecutes only after the House makes that call. That is unlikely to happen because the House is corrupt.

What happens next in America is up to the rule of law and the Democratic opposition being joined by some uncorrupted Republicans. They must follow the action and employ the Courts to adjudicate the situation.

It behooves the Special Prosecutor to interview the President via voluntary cooperation or subpoena. Trump’s lawyer is calling for the end of the probe into the President’s involvement with the Russians. That might indicate that Trump will attempt to end it by firing the Special Prosecutor. If he does that, it will trigger an unprecedented Constitutional crisis.

All of this is happening as Trump’s White House staff is in chaos as he intends to meet with the North Koreans for which he is inadequately prepared. America is at great risk from President Trump and it is time for all patriots in the Congress to organize calls for immediate impeachment. Such action should be as bipartisan as possible and should include rallying the public’s understanding of the imperative and necessity for the sake of American democracy.
