Introducing: 'How to Select an American President' blog

For the past five years, James George has been researching and analyzing the American Political System as an independent journalist and blogger. While living and working in the Nation's Capital for the past 13 years, he was a senior consultant and program manager to the Department of Defense and Department of Health and Human Services, working for distinguished contractors such as ManTech International, PricewaterHouseCoopers (PWC), and MTS Technologies. Having retired from consulting, he returned to publishing as an author and journalist.

He published Smart Data, Enterprise Performance Optimization Strategy by James A. George and James A. Rodger (c) 2010 Wiley Publishing. While writing as National Politics Examiner for Clarity Media and Examiner.com, he produced 5,000 articles. He covered nationally televised debates with CNN Politics credentials and wrote Affordable Healthcare Act articles for CBS News.

He has written Sustainable Economics, America's Path Toward Regeneration (c) James A. George, All Rights Reserved, that is pending release.

Turning the clock back to the time before working in DC, George lived and worked in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area as an entrepreneur and information technology consultant to corporations and the U.S. government.

He once owned Talon Publishing and Research Company that became a part of D. Appleton Company, a distinguished technology consulting firm. He was a former Publisher and Executive for The American Broadcasting Companies Hitchcock Publishing Division.

Before that, he was a director for Bendix Automation and Measurement Division. He was instructional media consultant and course developer for AT&T.

He graduated from Franklin University with a BS in Business Administration and Operations Research. He attended The Ohio State University for four years before transferring to Franklin. He subsequently served as Academic Director and Course Developer for the University of California at Berkeley Worldwide. He instructed courses at Nihon University, Tokyo and for the Korea Management Association, Seoul.

The purpose of this blog is to create active discussion about how American voters set about selecting elected officials, beginning with the President of the United States. A companion book is in the works that will be announced here and in the national press in the upcoming months.

The dialogue will start now.

  1. I support HRC, and plan on working on her campaign in an effort to be able to (with knowledge) on her behalf...dispute negative comments. I look forward to a respectful debate on her qualifications etc.

    2. Since I demonstrated that I am concerned or freaked by her abuse of email rules according to the Inspector General, I have been rebutted by a good friend who is highly qualified legally to address the issue. She says that it should not change her status as nominee. My wife agrees, and you agree, so I will follow my leaders.
