The nation is a failed state. The remnants of a functioning democratic republic remain in place and are the last chance for citizens to restore the Constitutional government.
The US Congress Republican-dominated House Intelligence Committee failed to do its job in investigating Russian interference in American elections. They decided to shut down their inquiry without having interviewed many prospective witnesses. They failed to follow leads and quit prematurely without respect for bipartisanship. Their work is as failed as their chairman and the Nunes’ memo.
Allowing this to pass is the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan. Failing in his duty to pursue charges of impeachment and censure against President Trump who flaunts a disregard for our Constitution and government. That case continues under the Special Prosecutor.
As the Special Prosecutor pursues obstruction of justice charges, he is sure to engage actions by the Speaker and Senate Majority leader, Vice President Pence, and Attorney General Sessions, all participants in obstructing the process.
Ultimately, the case will be made to Congress and in the Courts, that Donald Trump and his regime and associates conspired with Russians to steal Election 2016, and they succeeded.
Only citizens can reverse the downward spiral in the Mid-Term Elections.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the highest-ranking Democrat on the committee, told reporters last month that there is “ample evidence” of Trump’s campaign colluding with Russia. He blasted the committee’s Republican majority for ending the investigation.
