Racketeer Trump Duped the GOP?

Today's hypothesis is the Donald Trump was motivated to run for president as an elaborate scheme to defend himself against an attack by the Justice Department and IRS which are pursuing him for racketeering, among other possible violations of the law. The alleged billionaire has his fortune, and freedom at stake, as well as implications for his family-member business associates.

Questions:

  1. Is his running for president a ruse?
  2. Is his IRS audit more than just a routine?
  3. Are there indications of racketeering among his practices?

Donald Trump's defense might be to claim that the system is rigged and that someone is out to get him for his speaking his mind. After all, look at the millions of people who enjoy his speaking and saying whatever they want to hear?

Start with the last question first.

Law Newz investigated and discovered Donald Trump is named in 169 lawsuits. When he sues, he often countersues. He can wear down his opposition by tying them up in litigation that they cannot afford.

Trump is currently on trial for fraud regarding Trump University. That is a big deal since he also publicly attacked the judge.

A large number of businesses and contractors engaged in trying to get Trump enterprises to pay their bills is a strong indication of the potential for racketeering and other violations one might think.

Is his IRS audit more than just a routine?

When pressed about releasing his individual tax returns during the recent GOP debate, Donald Trump said he wouldn’t release them until the IRS finishes its audit. “You’re in the midst of negotiating and talking to the IRS,” Trump stated. “Your lawyers would never allow you to do that.”

Is the Trump campaign a ruse? Some have suggested that Trump is out to destroy the GOP. However, if his empire is under attack including him for his shady business practices that may be illegal, then is it possible that he is ginning up a defense that the government is out to get him? They are being fair, and the system is rigged?
