Probing the probes

Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (Utah) and Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (Va.) have launched a perjury probe into statements made by Mrs. Clinton during Benghazi and email investigations for which the FBI has declared, "Case Closed." Of course, this is a politically motivated investigation like so many other failed attempts by Republicans to bring down the Democratic nominee.

Republicans failed to produce a viable candidate, and in the absence of ideas, they are resorting to legislative and legal abuse not entirely unlike Donald Trump trying to wear out people suing him because he can outlast them.
