Life Goes On

Up to a point, life in the good old USA goes on no matter what the President is doing, with some caveats, of course.

Trump appears to be all ginned up talking about his predicament that becomes worse with the more that he says.

Bear in mind that the President is expected to be a person of a cool head and deliberately thoughtful. Big whoops with this President.

The economy moves forward with Obama momentum. Trump can easily derail that. However, his ability to put Executive Orders into Legislative Actions appears to be crippled by incompetence, owing in part to his telegraphing his intentions that the court interprets as being bigoted, discriminatory and UnConstitutional.

Trump's actions such as slandering a past President and threatening the former FBI Director does nothing but add more evidence to the inevitable case that will be brought against him.

The question now is what will be the process?

With the Speaker of the House appearing to be obstructing justice and colluding with the President, he is rendering his part of Congress illegitimate. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has done the same. Both may end up being subjects in the future litigation. They must recuse themselves.

That means that Congress must shape up and clean house to become a legitimate participant.

There may be some way to screen Congressional members to determine who is tainted by Trump and who are not.

Only the Supreme Court can determine the process when the legislative body has become so conflicted that it can't perform.

What a predicament? Yes, and I predicted it, right here.
