From How to Select an American President by James A. George and James A. Rodger (c) 2107 Archway Publishing
In my book, How to Select an American President by James A. George and James A.Rodger (c) 2017 Archway Publishing, I define and discuss the Job Model of the US President. The first task is staffing the Executive Branch.
When Donald Trump selected Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, the appointment was problematic. The first red flag: Sessions was nominated in 1986 to be a judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, but was not confirmed. He was not approved because his performance and resume were deficient. Nothing happened between then and now to make it better. Why did Trump select a faulty candidate?
1. He wanted a dupe.
2. He demanded loyalty.
3. He wanted his appointment to do as he directed.
Selecting persons who are vulnerable and at his mercy is a modus operandi of a mobster-don-style President.
President Trump uses people and throws them under buses when convenient. Sessions has been rolled over by the Trump bus many times.
He must have nine lives.
