Lindsey Graham
The UnAmerican Senator
On more than one occasion throughout the years, I witnessed and declared Senator Lindsey Graham failing to uphold his allegiance to the Constitution and the rule of law. The irony is that he is a trained lawyer. However, we are witnessing more than a dozen Trump lawyers and supporters being indicted for breaking the law on the former President’s behalf. It should be unsurprising that Lindsey Graham once again aligns with Trump in telling Americans that the former president’s prosecution is a politically motivated witch-hunt.
I want to address my charges against Lindsey Graham and his claim that indictments and prosecutions are politically motivated. I include his Wiki profile at the end of the story.
Lindsey Graham competed for the presidency as a candidate against Trump, during which he said, “He’s a kook. I have had enough!” That’s when Lindsey had it correct. After that, he slobbered all over Trump to get in his good graces.
“All of Lindsey Graham’s Flagrantly Self-Serving Flip-Flops on Trump: A 5-Act Play
Graham hated Trump. Then, I loved him. Then, I spread his lies. Then, I abandoned him. Then, I got screamed at.
‘In 2015, Graham appeared on the channel he’s called “fake news,” CNN. ‘There’s only one way to make America great again,’ he said.
‘Tell Donald Trump to go to hell.’
‘As Trump’s violent mob descended onto the Capitol on January 6, many of his chief enablers have tried to gaslight their way into back into America’s good graces—including Graham. After Biden’s convincing win in November 2020, Graham was a strident supporter of Trump’s big lie that there was widespread fraud and became an outspoken attack dog for the president on cable television. “President Trump should not concede,” Graham said in November, before deploying full-blown “push back” and “fight” rhetoric leading up to the insurrection.”
Mother Jones
On the Jan 6th Insurrection, Lindsey said this:
“Trump and I, we’ve had a hell of a journey,” Graham said, clearly agitated. “I hate it to end this way. Oh, my God, I hate it. From my point of view, he’s been a consequential president. But today, the first thing you’ll see, all I can say is count me out. Enough is enough.”
Throughout the Trump presidency, when Trump attempted to disobey the rule of law and sought to appoint people, including the AG, who would do his bidding, Lawyer, and UASF Officer, Lindsey Graham went along—compromising his oath and allegiance.
