The daily litany of President Trump magnifies the already apparent pattern of a delusional authoritarian on a fever-pitch rant and propaganda campaign to what end? In his mental state, it is to sustain his power.
Like Adolph Hitler, he is the inventor and creator of facts. Facts are what he believes no matter what the truth might be. The behavior of such a self-serving leader has already downgraded America as a democracy. The fact that a segment of American voters was exploited to his advantage bears consequences that will likely get worse for them and the nation.
He is attempting to censor government professionals and scientists. He is employing Executive Orders for which the contents contain violations of the law to which he is sworn to uphold.
How long will it take for leaders in government and the nation to take him to court.? Senator John McCain said that the CIA and government would refuse to follow his orders to reinstate rendition and torture. Will the Senator take him to court or just whine about the Commander-in-Chief?
The evidence and necessity for a complete investigation into Donald Trump are already compelling. As awkward as it may be, the IRS, FBI, and Intelligence Agencies need to convene a coordinated and complete investigation because Donald Trump is becoming the single most dangerous threat to the nation.
"Despite acts of brutality that were perpetrated on his watch, Bush always insisted publicly that the United States did not torture. He understood that copping to the enhanced interrogation techniques he had secretly approved could undercut our moral standing on the world stage, provide terrorists a potent recruiting tool and give our enemies an excuse to torture Americans.
Trump doesn’t think like that. “I have spoken as recently as 24 hours ago with people at the highest level of intelligence,” the new president told ABC News in an interview that aired last night, “and I asked them the question, 'Does it work? Does torture work?' and the answer was, 'Yes, absolutely.'"

A grave threat to American Democracy
