Democrats Must Become Effective Legislators

Candidates and incumbents from both political parties always seem to ask for more money, even when it is about performing their fundamental tasks. That is bunk.

We know that the American Political System is corrupted by the mechanisms used to finance campaigns. We know that big money must be removed from politics on the basis that one person deserves equal footing with one vote. That means that “corporate persons” should not have any more than one vote no matter how many dollars they contribute. The notion of political action committees performing as multipliers is a problem that can be eliminated with laws prohibiting them.

For all of the Patriots in Hollywood and wherever liberal Democrats roam, if you have the money, how about backing the initiatives to level the playing field.

Start by removing the illegitimate President and his government from power through all legal means. It doesn’t appear to this citizen and independent journalist that Democrats are performing effectively as representatives of the constituency to which I belong.

Today, there is talk about the 25th Amendment coming into play whereby the sitting cabinet and Vice President vote to remove President Trump. Since Trump appointed them and since Pence is a part of the investigation into Russian interference it doesn’t make since that tainted members have a legitimate claim to anything either. Clean house. Do over, is the only answer.
