Time to Put Putin on Full Stop

Putin's assault on Ukraine's sovereignty is an assault on free nations everywhere. The authoritarian must not be permitted to succeed in his conquest because that will end the concept of free people.

He is now trying to destroy Ukraine by attacking infrastructure and terrorizing the population indiscriminately. Stopped must be Russia's military.

Actions needed at once:

• NATO must adopt Ukraine as a member nation.
• Russia must be ordered to cease hostilities and retreat to Russia at once.
• NATO must deploy forces, including air power, in Ukraine to bolster the fight to overwhelm Russian troops.
• NATO and the U.S. must notify the Russian military commanders that Putin's war will not be tolerated and call for a Russian military uprising against Putin.
• NATO and the U.S. must reassert that it does not want a war with Russia, which is prevented by Russia's retreat and halting their aggression.

If Russia launches attacks on Ukraine from Russian-based sites, those locations will become targets for NATO forces.

I don't believe that Putin or Russian citizens want war on their soil. NATO and the free world must be clear that his attacks on Ukraine have gone too far. Game over; the consequences are on his doorstep.
