Both the King and Trump acknowledge that terrorism is more than just ISIS.
As for Syria, President Trump sounded more moved by the appalling use of sarin gas by President Assad against victims including women and children. He did not mention or blame Russians in his statement. That omission is in contrast with Ambassador Nikki Haley's remarks at the UN pointedly making the Russians complicit or partly responsible.
President Trump is consistently light on details as he says that he doesn't want to telegraph his actions to the enemy as he alleged President Obama did. That is true that Obama spoke too much about what he was doing publicly.
However, so much of Trump policy and deeds is void of details. Let's hope that the President has put some meat on the bones of his foreign and military policy. Don't count on that because his pattern of behavior and style is deficient in details.
You may observe that Trump consistently employs bravado and repeats catch phrases ad nausea. It is like a nervous tic.
