Call to Mothers and Grandparents Arms

The gun lobby in the US and the Congressman who are corrupted by it need to feel an onslaught of resistance and revolt from constituents who demand the disarming of Americans and the end of personal gun ownership.

That's correct; the Second Amendment did not mean for all Americans to be armed to protect themselves, it called on an organized militia. Local and state law enforcement officers are the citizens' protectors, replacing the need for private guns.

America has failed to mature in that regard, in part because some communities are remote where protection by individual guns might be necessary, though probably not. There are exceptions which can be addressed by laws and regulations.

In the meantime, to protect children at schools, maybe mother and grandparent volunteer forces can augment law enforcement thereby monitoring and supporting screening operations.

Don't fund the military parade, fund school safety instead.
