Report Card: ½ the Class, Failed

The report card from How to Select an American President isn’t very good. At best, ½ of the class might have passed the test, though not on the merit of well-versed knowledge and skill.

In 2016, Joe Biden was the best choice based on my scoring method and algorithm. Biden had the Vice President advantage. The Democrats chose Hillary Clinton instead. Her qualifications and experience were alright, except not the better of the two.

As for Republicans and Trump, their choice was horribly mistaken for explicit reasons in my book. His credentials were not properly vetted. When facts emerged about his performance in business, they revealed deceit and malperformance. Those findings pointed to deeply seeded character flaws that were well-documented in his past. Then, came explosive revelations about his misogynous behavior, also well-documented.

With all the evidence, Republicans accepted him. Why? Many Republicans are racist bigots. Many have failed to embrace standards and a process that ensures proper vetting. They are enveloped by mythology and ideology that undermine democratic ideas.

Can I prove that? Absolutely, it is explained in my book, How to Select an American President by James A George and James A. Rodger © 2017 Archway Publishing.

If you didn’t read it, you failed the course.
