Scott Pruitt is unqualified as EPA chief

The Republican Senate Majority approved Scott Pruitt as the EPA Director, and that was an act of incompetence and irresponsibility. In my book How to Select an American President by James A. George with James A. Rodger (c) 2017 Archway Publishing, I present a method for reviewing candidate resumes that apply to all elected position and executive appointments as well.

Just as most people must apply for a job by completing an application and providing a resume that demonstrates skill, knowledge, and experience, the same must be true for government. In fact, for all government hiring positions, there is a rigorous system to ensure the hiring of qualified people.

The Executive Branch of government should not be exempt, not should the Senate that must review and approve nominees. The Senate his doing Americans a disservice with its performance in having failed to screen Trump nominees. By this declaration, I want Senators on the approving committee to resign their positions and to depart the Senate, immediately.

Being an attorney is one valid credential. However, lacking are credentials in Science and the Environment. He has litigated against environmental protection, but that is not a valid credential in knowledge about the subject. He is a professional politician and ideologue who is conflicted by his home state's dependence on oil.

His allegiance is not to the well-being of the American public.

Pruitt attended Georgetown College in Kentucky and graduated in 1990 with bachelor's degrees in political science and communications. He then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma when he attended the University of Tulsa to earn a Juris Doctor in 1993.

Scott Pruitt is a hack job.
