From the GOP itself is confirmation from the FBI Chief that Trump's Tweets about wire-tapping are bogus.
What is interesting in the GOP version of the story that also says the Russian government and surrogates are under investigation for interfering in Election 2016. Those surrogates may well include members of the Trump campaign who were either knowingly or unwittingly participants in the crime.
Rep Devin Nunes alluded to the possibility that Trump may have been swept up in the investigation that began with the Russians and then led to surrogates. Of course, the world heard Trump encourage the Russians and Wikileaks as he cheered them on. That is a fact.
"The FBI chief also confirmed his agency is actively investigating the Russian government's interference in the 2016 presidential election – a probe which includes whether Trump's campaign staff was involved with the Kremlin plot.
